The John Ben Snow Foundation and Memorial Trust support a wide range of communities and programs, particularly helping youth and under-resourced persons.  Our mission is greater when our impact is diverse, inclusive, equitable and welcoming.  Our Board members and staff commit to the following to do more and better:

Personal Commitment:  Strive for inclusion and acceptance in our daily lives at home, at work and in our communities.  Each Board member and staff will set goals with measurable outcomes toward this purpose.

Grant Making:  Review our grant making process for deficiencies like implicit bias and adopt revisions.  Identify and involve advisors with diverse community perspectives to our grant making process.

Vendors and Partners:  Learn about the values of our vendors and partners.  Though our impact may be modest, we will encourage these organizations to adopt inclusive and equitable practices.

Renewal:  At least once a year, Board members and staff will review, update and recommit to standards and values supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
